Corpus Christ Food Pantry And Assistance

Food Pantry:

We need the basics: canned meat, fruit juice, canned fruit, canned corn, green beans and peas, shampoo, tooth paste, tooth brushes, cereal, peanut butter, tomato and chicken noodle soup, toilet paper, ketchup, mustard, salt and pepper. Special treats for our clients include cookies, cake and frosting mixes, single pot coffee packs, etc.

Birthday gifts:

Many of our clients cannot afford birthday gifts for their children and this is an area where we can help. Age appropriate children's gifts are always needed, especially gifts for older children. Schools or religious eduction classes might enjoy working on this project.

Assistance

Beyond financial support for housing and/or utilities, support for job hunting, employment and other basic needs are always a welcome donation. Specific examples include:

Local bus passes
Car repair gift certificates from Gurney’s Automotive*
Shoe gift certificates from Alec’s Shoes*
Clothing gift certificates from local stores (i.e. Walmart, Target, Kohls, etc.)
