About Corpus Christi
Our Support A majority of our support consists of donations from individuals, schools, businesses and churches. Some choose to give us food, basic toiletries, basic cleaning supplies, and gift certificates. Others provide financial support. Corpus Christi is thankful for donations from other agencies such as the Postal Workers Food Drive, Scouting for Food, the Feinstein Grant, Nashua Rotary, NH Charitable Trust and FEMA to name a few. Upon the death of a loved one, sometimes people choose to ask for donations to Corpus Christi in lieu of flowers. Often people commemorate a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary by requesting donations CCFPA in lieu of gifts. 100 percent of all donations go directly to Corpus Christi and its clients. Donations are used as effectively as possible. Food Pantry We supplement the stocking of our shelves by shopping at the New Hampshire Food Bank for 18 cents a pound or at local grocery stores which graciously allow us to shop for large quantities of sale items with the money we are given. Assistance Program Each client’s request is reviewed and financial support provided to meet immediate, short-term necessities. Based on donations and gift certificates received CCA can provide help with pending evictions and utility shut-offs as well as job hunting or employment basics (modest transportation needs, clothing requirements, etc.). |
